Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator

Young Environmental Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of multidisciplinary environmental and infrastructure projects. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the consistency, quality, and timeliness of internal and external project deliverables. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates a commitment to team collaboration and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track project tasks, deliverables, and schedules using Wrike project management software

  • Develop professional presentation and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders

  • Attend meetings, record detailed notes, and document action items

  • Set up and maintain project filing systems, including OneNote, OneDrive, and SharePoint

  • Enter and reconcile financial transactions using Deltek Ajera

  • Monitor work orders, budgets, and invoicing workflows

  • Manage contact databases, shared calendars, and meeting logistics (virtual and in-person)

  • Draft, edit, and format project documentation, including reports, memos, and technical specifications

  • Coordinate QA/QC processes and facilitate on-time delivery of work products

  • Support internal project communications and document control procedures

  • Utilize Bluebeam Revu for document editing, markup, and collaborative review

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a project coordination, project assistant, or administrative role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam Revu

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping procedures and project accounting software, including Deltek Ajera

  • Experience using project management tools such as Wrike

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Self-starter with a client service mindset and a collaborative approach to team success

  • High degree of integrity and ability to work with sensitive or confidential information

  • Competitive salary: $55,000–$75,000 based on experience and qualifications
